Vous accueille à
Paris, France

The Eiffel Tower, it is wonderful!  The digital display on the front tells you how many days it was to the Millennium.  Again, the photo doesn’t really tell you how huge it is

This was Paddington's favourite restaurant, round the corner from her hotel.   It is part of a chain.  The food was French enough to be different but English enough to please us

View from the top of Musee d’Orsay, with the Seine and the Tuilleries Gardens – you can see the Ferris Wheel and get a better idea of its size from this photo

In Musee d’Orsay My daughter amazed me by pointing out “Whistlers Mother”.  I took a photo, but the flash reflected and it looks as if Mr Bean has been at it again!

The Japanese Footbridge by Monet, in Musee d’Orsay

The Artists Garden at Giverny by Monet, Paddington's favourite painting of all time, and a copy of it hangs over her computer work area.  It is even more beautiful in real life than in any picture.

A really lovely house in Montmatre
